About Worksites for Wellness

Worksites for Wellness, Inc. (WfW) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization co-founded in 2008 by Daria Luisi and Marti Copleman, two former employees of the New York City Department of Health & Mental Hygiene. WfW's initial focus is on helping employers comply with New York State’s new law "The Right of Nursing Mothers to Express Milk" (N.Y. Labor Law Section 206-c), which became effective in 2007. In time WfW expects to advise employers on practical, cost-effective ways to address exercise, nutrition, substance abuse, smoking, and other influences on wellness that affect workers’ performance, morale and productivity.
